Probation Details

My sentence was one year probation, court costs, interlock device in my car for the duration of probation, no drinking (at all). Also I have monthly visits with my probation officer with possible durg test at that time or any time they choose. I also have a deferred judgement so after a year I have the option to request for this to be removed from my record.

At the time of this writing, it's been seven months and I've submitted a petition for early release of my probation and/or removal of the interlock device. That thing has been a pain. I understand why I have it, but it's embarrasing and annoying and it reminds me of this mistake every time I get in my car. Since my judgement is deferred, I can apply for early release, otherwise Texas does not give early release. Fingers crossed.
